what paint would be best for a turbo manifold and dump pipe? Cheers Rhett.
Its a wheelbase thing
I've had good luck with VHT hi-temp spray paint. Seems to last about 2 years. Maybe more if you're anal about preparation.
I've had bad luck with Plasti-kote hi-temp spray paint. It dried powdery and kept flaking and brushing off. Never set properly either, touching it would get paint dust on your hands even months afterwards.

I painted extractors and they glow red down the bottom when sitting on 4K in soft sand up the beach and mine looked perfect not a bubble or anything just make sure u do the prep work well before hand..KiwiBacon wrote:Yep that's the same stuff I use and like.HotFourOk wrote:Yep, I have used VHT Heat proof paints on exhausts with good results.
