All Vehicles that compete in any of the driving events at J7 must comply with the following rules,
· They must have doors and a windscreen, and they must resemble the vehicle on the rego papers.
· They must have almost all the original panels from and including the front doors forward, basically if all that’s left of the original car is a firewall, half the chassis, and a grill that’s cable tied to a tube frame, you won’t be allowed to enter.
· All soft tops must be fitted with a roll cage, and drivers of soft top vehicles must wear an ADR approved helmet.
· All vehicles must be fitted with seatbelts.
· Rear steer cannot be used.
· Pneumatic or hydraulic adjustable suspension is allowed but it can’t be used, it must be set and not adjusted.
· And last but not least, they must be registered & insured, in the past there has been confusion about this, we’re not talking about a green slip we don’t need to see a green slip! Please make sure you bring along proof that your vehicle is covered by third party property or full comprehensive insurance, and don’t forget your rego papers.

I seen your car at Mannell's today, you'll be in Modified class, and you can leave the glass out as long as you wear a helmet.Squik wrote:Hmmm.... I'm kinda caught in the middle of Modified and Open Class
Seems like a huge jump from a combined lift of 3" to 9"... I fit all the criteria of Modified but will only have 5" total lift running measely little 31's.... what happens with 'in betweens' like this
Not keen to drive with the glass targa's in (don't have the $900 to replace them if they get busted ) - helmet, no probs as I have an ADR... but no roll cage (US specs state the structural integrity of the targa without glass meets rollover criteria, but can't find anything here ).... anyone?
pushing ... up hill to get there with a car now.Axle i got last year for gu doesnt fit..ring bouncer tomorrowCWBYUP wrote:I just cant wait to hear the music pumping out of your ute like it was at Bushranger.

Just to clarify the rules for helmets, if you have a soft top you'll need a helmet, if you want a chance to drive in the "Mud Enduro" you'll need a helmet, and if you want to drive in the winch challenge in Open or Outlaw class you will need a helmet, in all the other events they won't be compolsory, but if you have one you might as well wear it.

That's a typo, the only time you will need a helmet is if you drive in the Winch Challenge or the Mud Enduro, or you have a soft top vehicle.
Helmet and sedatives, I'm ready for the other seatTiny wrote:all regoed, insured, club membership paid up, entry paid...............see ya all there

Im here for the sausage!
Went down with the family and a mate on Saturday.
Was excellent, but the rain set in after lunch so we decided to head off as we were getting quite wet and getting a little tired. But being there for 4-5 hours was great! Saw some great rigs, nice and lifted with big tyres Took a few photos. Will post more within the next day or two. Here's some of them:

Apart from the weather that was the best jamboree ive ever been to. I had an absolute ball, came 2nd in open class, and the mrs came 1st in the ladies open class, car is still all good too except for a broken exhaust. but by far the highlight of my weekend was winning the raffle, yee haa $1500 worth of new pro comp tyres. i still cant get the smile off my face.
Well done to on all 4s club for an awesome event. and well done to all the other clubs that helped run events.
ill post some pics later.

What a great weekend, on behalf of the On all 4's club and J7 Commitee we would like to thank everyone who attended the Jamboree, it was a great weekend and went through very smoothly with no l issues, except from the rain. I bet some of the kids are still getting mud from the hair.
We would also like to thank Dargle Farm for the use of the Land, all the sponsors. And a big thanks go to all the clubs for assisting with the events as they gave up the best part of their weekend to ensure the tracks ran so everyone could compete. The funcarna events had to the best we have seen.
As Jamie Smith Say's It was the best Jamboree ever
Regards, David, Richard and Jamie
