Low Idle after driving a while

Post by Zam »

Hi Guys,

Wondering if you have any ideas on this one........

When i drive around city driving, the idle sits on about 7 - 800 when halted, however, when driving for a while on the freeway or long stretches of road at higher revs about 2800 - 3000 and coming to a stop, like lights or intersection the idle drops down to 3 - 400 and acts like it is about to stall.

At this point i have to tap the accelerator and then usually the idle gets back to 7 - 800.

Anyone have any ideas on what causes this????

Cheers
