Saw an F75 the other day that had a snorkel fitted to it that looked like a factory unit. It had the word BRUMBY embedded in it (raised in plastic) and really seemed to fit the F75. It also had a different air filter on that made me think that it may have been factory fitted. The Rocky was a 1988 F75RV-B unit.
Does anyone have any information on these units.
The owner is local and I will call around in a few days time and grab a couple of photos. He bought the car second hand with the snorkel already on it so has no idea of its origon.

Life is like a river crossing,
the longer you stay in it the more wrinkles you get !

We amay be a little off track here as I don't have on yet but saw one on an 88 Rocky about a week ago. It was not an airflow unit but since posting this have found out that the GQ unit is the one recommended for the Rocky. I am not in a position to buy one on the off chance that it fits but will kep my eyes and eares open to see if others have had any luck

Hope this helps but only place I could get Airflow snorkel thru was Toyhatsu Wreckers in Melbourne. Place that makes Airflow snorkel is in Dromana ( 60kms south of Melbourne but they don't sell to the public).
They don't make Daihatsu Rocky snorkels on massive scale and its really one off jobs as demand is so high .
Since I own Wide Track model the flares make impossible to use to fit pre 93 Rocky airflow snorkel. I spoke to a guy who sells rear windows savers
http://www.obiesoutback.com.au/siteindex.htm and his Rocky has GQ airflow. Did the same with mine. Bloody hard work just to drill the hole with holesaw (heaps of metal joints under the panels) but non of the 4WD workshops agreed to install it.
As for the price I think it was around $330 .
There is no snokel for after 93 Wide Track model Rocky. If they say that they may have one I bet it would be for pre '93 model.
(sorry to bore but I spend almost a year to find snorkel that would fit).
