Hi from a newbie

Post by HeathGQ »

Weel, not really a newbie, benn on the list for a while now with teh Feroza, but a new Nissan owner. Just bought a 1993 GQ wagon, 4.2 diesel, with only 158,000k's on it.

Comes with a dual battery set-up (which I will have checked out), CB and custom dash pod, rear shelving and slide out for fridge, 2" body and 2" suspension lift (pedder's shocks - will be changing that soon to 4" suspension), Clarion 6 stacker CD, two sets of tyres - 32" BFG muddies adn 31" road tyres, snorkel with Finer Filter, etc.

Paid $15,500 with 6mths rego.

Pick it up after the seller organises Roadworthy / Safety Certificate, and I get a pre-purchase inspection done.

Anyway - Just wanted to say hi. Hi.

Cheers
Heath

Congrats!

What is it with Nissans and Heaths? I'd never met so many Heaths in the one place. I used to have a Daihatsu too - a groovy F75 Rocky till I put it on its roof.

Anyway, when you get it - we want pics (in the Members section I suppose)!

That sounds pretty good for the money you paid!!

I've been looking for a poo trol for a couple of months and can't seem to find any decent ones, they're mainly in really shite condition or have like half a million kays on em!!

Was it a private sale in the trader or what??

Enjoy

We have been looking for ages too. It was private sale. Honestly, we could not believe it when we saw it. We had been saying all along that we didnt want a white one (cause everyone has a white one), this is white but we just could not let it go.

Still have to have a pre-purchase inspection done, and the seller is going through the roadworthy stuff at the moment, but cant foresee any major issues. The rear brake caliper sheared a bolt and doesnt work, but he needs to fix that for roadworthy, and the front drivers door hinge is broken.

All I can say is - they are out there, you have to get serious about looking and ring evey add. This add missed some important things, like 4.2 diesel, but rang anyway. And walah.
