T-MAX SOLINOID BOX ON A WARN WINCH ???
COULD ANYONE TELL ME IF A T-MAX SOLINOID BOX IS USEABLE ON A WARN WINCH. I HOPE SOMEONE CAN HELP ME.
My cruiser might not be Pretty, it might not be Fast, but, IT'S BLOODY TOUGH!!!
Cannot see why not, they all should have F1, F2 and A connections to the winch motor. Personally I would go for an aftermarket solenoid like this:
Most of the comp guys use them. You won’t need to worry about solenoids again for a long time. A number of people around the country sell them – you should be able to pick them up for around $200.
Cheers

I'm sure it will, works on the same principle as a normal big solenoid box, but I haven't wired up a wireless remote before. If you took some pics of the wiring on the current solenoid box I could possibly work it out for you. I've dropped you a PM mate.
How do you find the wireless remotes anyways?

did not get the pm mate, find the wireless remote great, use it all the time. i have a switch to isolate the earth wire, so i just grab the remote and flick the switch and away it goes. works inside or 50 metres away. i use my winch for dragging pallets from the front of tandem trailers to the back so forklift can grab it.
