Hi, I just wanted to know what Lift Kits and if any dramas have been found after having raised the vehicle (I want to know about setups available here in Australia please)?
Can anyone tell me if lifting the vehicle voids Nissan's Factory Warranty here in Australia?

Lift Kits in a Nissan Navara D40 (06+ Model)
Calmini do --> 2.5" spacer kit, and 2.5" spacer and shakle kit, and also a 5" kit
Spacer kits aren't gonna do much for suspension travel tho.
Can be imported(USA) or a couple of guys in AUS bring them in(4WDUSA in bayswater, perth)
Old Man Emu do a kit that has replacement coilover front and leafs rear, gives about 40mm lift.

GQ leafy ute - TD42, 2" lift, parabolics up-front, dove tail tray and 37" IROKs

Calmini do both a 2.5 and 5 " kit, but neither will do anything to increase front wheel travel.

Cal @ Cal offroad in snowy mountains nsw has supplied and fitted one of these kits to Mickey Thomson Tyres new Navara in Canberra.
The kit looks excellent quality wise and has retained the navara's good driving characteristics.
The car still doesnt look all that tall, nothing like a cruiser or patrol with 6" lift.
Cal can supply the kit, http://www.caloffroad.com.au/ as can Pete at OPW http://www.opw.com.au/ (both in NSW).
I am likely to put this kit in mine after July this year, and yes it would void at least part of Nissans warranty.
My Nissan dealer said it would only void the suspension warranty (as its not nissan any more), but another mates told him it could well void the warranty full stop as you have modified the vehicle and would be affecting driveline angles that could then affect the driveline performance.
Have a chat to your dealer I guess.
Otherwise, both TJM and ARB to small lifts of a bit under 2 inches.
They do definately need a lift tho, they are stupidly low...
The towbar on my old company car (AU Falcon wagon) was at least 100mm higher than the navara's is

If your only going 40mm I hate to say it but the ironman kit is hard to go past.
I have it in my GQ and I've fitted a few through work and for the money they cant be beaten. For the money theres no way I would buy anything else.
We did some test differance between the Ironman and ARB kit ( same car Hilux ) 2 weeks diffeance in fit time ( ARB was first ) and you cant tell the differance between the two loaded or unloaded.
At work we can sell ARB, TJM or Ironman and I've had less complaints about Ironman than the either of the other two.
We have only just started to let the general public know that we do them because we were worried about the quality, but we will soon be advertising / fitting more of these becasue we are so happy with them.

I am looking at a Tourer, with reasonable Mud and Steep Hill/Rocky capabilities. I'm not after a Bush-Chook setup for CRAZY off-road work!
I have looked at Ironman, Snake Racing, ARB & EFS, have also found a cheap King Spring 35mm setup that seems reasonable and shouldn't change the drivability of the car.... what are peoples thoughts on a 35mm lift? It is going to be enough?

the way i see it, enough lift is the smallest amount of lift needed to fit the biggest possible tires.
So you would need to decide what size tires yours aiming for to determine if it is enough lift.
I don't think there would be many people who have experience with lifting D40's on here, i would recommend googling for the American forums, i found lots of info when i was looking, and pictures too.
