hilux ln106 3L oil pump

hey guys,
does any one know where i could get one of these from pretty cheap.
i think mine is about to die the oil light is staying on for ages when i start up.
and i have changed the oil, filter and sender.

the guys at repco said he didn't list them

Have you put a pressure tester into the side of the block yet? You could have worn big ends that will drop the pressure.

I would test the actual oil pressure before investing in a new pump.
You have to remove the front cover off the engine, that is behind the timing covers etc to get at it.
Its run by the crank, and fits over the crank. Not an easy job.

I wouldnt be looking at the oil pump first.

i thought it was just the big silver looking thing that the oil filter scnrewed into hhaha.

i brought an oil pressure gauge but the thread is different so i have to get a converter.

what kinda oil pressure, ideling and driving should it be.

at idle, more than 29kpa

at 3000rpm, 294 to 539kpa
