Feroza High Beam

Post by cookiesa »

Hoping someone can help!

My high beam doesn't work. Is there a relay or are they just switched?

Has anyone else come across this in a Feroza? I have in my discovery and that was a burnt out switch (no relay). But before I start pulling it apart I thought I'd ash you guys!

I have downloaded the manual but our computer doesn't like the PDF file, locks up!

Thankls in advance

My Rocky had no relays for high beam. (Well it does now  )
Try any fuses, and if it's not that, it may be the switch.
Or both globes blown at once?

Thanks for the suggestions, both high beams checked out OK (I even used a couple of wires on the Battery just to make sure I wasn't missing a break!)

The only reference I can find to fuses which seems a bit odd is the fusebox under the dash has 2 headlight listed ones. One for the left and one for the right?

Odd but doesn't seem to be anything else which is making me think there probably isn't a relay

Thanks again

They're probably the same as the Rocky then, just positively switched through the steering column selector.

Do the high beams work in any direction (Stalk pushed away or pulled towards you)?

No neither direction.

Only just got the vehicle so not sure how long it has been like this. Also looks like some spotties were removed at some point (wires and all!) can't see anything obvious but perhaps they removed or disturbed something they shouldn't have!
