just wondering how long the tailpipe from the muffler needs to be to be legal in QLD ?
And does it sound better shortened ? < thats the main qn
I mean I dont want it to sound like a fart but louder ?
Note: if anyone has pics of their tailpipes being shortened post away.

thats the only requirement, other than noise of course.
and whats the noise constraint ?
how would i measure that if i was to do it myself ?
or would i have to get a mechanic to measure the sound ?

does the length of the pipe past the muffler make any difference to the noise?
i thaught it was the length of the pipe upto the muffler that matters.
