Hi Joel,
I haven't heard about a winch challenge type event in Queensland that involves buggys. The only one I know of that is close is the Super A Class in the Queensland Winch Challenge that allows unregistered vehicles and has a lot less restrictions. Some vehicles you see in rock crawling I think would fit into that class but I wouldn't think buggys.

Cheers Mike

I'm heading up early Saturday morning so if anyone here on the Sunny coast is leaving Saturday morning & would like a tag along, let me know :D.

What's the best way there from Noosa? I was told the road to Jimna out near Kenilworth is bit of a goat track :?

Sunday creek road from Charlie Morland park at Kenilworth to Jimna has just been upgraded and is a good run at the moment. Definetly faster than Kilcoy and you'd probably miss any transport guys to if there is any hanging around. Ill be heading out to, probably on friday night though. Gazza!

They've held it in the expo site in previous years, so probably only what it costs to get in there I guess.....Unless they are having the stages in the park this year.

Chris, the fees that you will have already paid for camping etc. should allow you access into the park if neccessary but as far as i am aware they are holding the stages for the winch comp in the creek bed near the gorge so as spectators have easy access for viewing! ;)

Good luck to all whom are competing this weekend.

Cheers Troy.
