liffting a wg jeep

After todays experience I have decided to get a lift on my jeep its a wg 2001 also wanting to get better off road tyres. How much lift can i go and what size tyres should i use where is the best place to go for this in brissy.

We did some moderate tracks with lots of dirt , rocks and deep ruts and we found if we had a bit more clearance we would of got over the rocks with a bit more ease and not hit everything in sight underneath. Plus we do a fair bit of soft sand driving
