Need to find some wires

Need to find some wires
Im putting a headlight reminder buzzer into my 1998 GU 4.5 and i just need to know where i would find the headlight wire and the wire that turns on the interior light when the door opens. Somewhere under the steering wheel area would be preferred. thanks
well the wire for the headlights would be behind the cover panel for the steering column then once you have taken that of the wire will come out of the indicator stalk, sorry mate but not sure which wire it is or what colour it is either.
The wire that turns the interior light on when the doors are open would be located at the bottom of the "B" pillar i think its called behind the button then just run another wire from there up to where your goin to mount the buzzer.
Let me know how you go with it.

well i ended up just getting the headlight wire from the luminate wire on the cd player. Still haven't got the door wire yet, tried the fuse block under the dash but it seems to have 12V all the time, i need it to have 0V when door closed and 12V when door open, or the opposite will be ok too. Might just have to end up running a wire like maverick01 said. Other wires needed were ignition and acc and negative but there all easy.
