Sand anchor

Post by bundyrum4x4 »

Have done a search with no success, so if any else who is more computer experianced than me and can find links for me I would greatly appreciate it.

I need to get an anker for Cliffhanger and want to know a bit more about them from people who have used them. Any help appreciated.

Thanks

Might take you up on that.

I made one some time ago but have not realy tested it. I don't want it to fail up there.

If I could have a look at yours it will give me a chance to compair.

Mate in my humble opinion don't waste your time building one, buy one of Roger Smiths Ground Grabbers, we have used one in a few comps, Cliffhanger and OBC and they set really easily, they're strong and most important of all......they're proven! I personally wouldn't bother trying to build one (and I'm a budget bandit from way back!) because although they look basic there are a few tricks to them in terms of angles and strengths, we've seen lots of them fail or won't set, including those fold up ones.

Good luck with Cliffhanger mate, it's a great event.
