Post by muddymav »

hey all, i am buildng a tray for my gq shorty ute, i am chassing a fuel talk thats pretty much rectangle, and holds about 150l,i am sort of ater a replacement tank like "long ranger",but something off the shelf, not wanting to get anything custom made at this stage,Eg. so i can buy.pickup's etc easier. i have rang some manufacturers and they just blow me off  .I was wondering if any one could help in finding a vehicle that has a nearly rectangle tank and about 16" high (space available from top of chassis to underside of tray) and holds about 150l or there bouts.

older inboard boat tanks are made from metal and usaully large rectangle shape, call hallet or sleekline, there main model line are inboards and make their own tanks.
just flirt a bit and they will sell you one.
cars with alloy bullbars should be shot to the sun.
