the brown Lj was in 4WD Monthly a feew years back.

I think my car was defected and sitting in the shed back then or if it was on the trip (can't remember) then as I was taking pics I wouldn't have taken any of me driving which was always the problem. Didn't get anywhere near enough pics of it getting used

I am missing having a bit of a play I must admit. The Suzi was cool but I think I want to get something different next time, maybe. Always wanted a Rangie so maybe grab Stephen's one and fix it or I'd love toget an old Landy and put Hilux running gear in it.

I'll have a look for more picks of GWagenstees GWagen.

I think he's got plans for the Rangie but you could buy his Camry considering how much you ended up driving the Sierra :D :D :D

he has had plans for it , for about as long as I had my Sierra in a shed. :D

In terms of having a hypothetical rig argument, Why go lux diffs? Wouldnt cruiser or GQ diff be a safer and stronger bet?

Ive regretted selling my rangie for ages :cry:
If I still had it I reckon Id be looking at 60 series diffs and maybe a isuzu dieseasal.

the Hilux diffs basically bolt up to the landy, strong enough for a 34" tyre and easy to get a hold of. Just want it nice and cheap

Buy a sierra, weld the ass, put some gearing and drive it, drive it, drive it!

That s the best part, stop spending time repairing and modifying as a sierra will do 80-90% of the tracks that are out there!
