Hi,
I have been hunting on the web for a "how to" on a Magna engine swap or an EFI conversion. I not only found this forum but a site with the same engine swap into a Scorpion.
http://users.chariot.net.au/~emengee/mi ... dstory.htm
I was wondering if I could ask for people's comments on the above build story. In particular I would be interested in hearing your thoughts on the highlighted problems and how they relate to the Pajero.
I have swapped engines in my own cars before but never tackled a conversion where I don't have a manual that I can refer to. So any links you can refer me to would be great. A search on here has lots of discussion but I am really looking for some hard technical detail.
Thanks
Matt

Magna TR Engine swap for 2.6 Carb engine

I haven't used the magna engine (completely) on my conversion. However I have seen the site which you linked on your post, and it seems to hold up.
I've done the conversion using Magna EFI onto the pajero engine, which is a *fun* task in itself.
If you're looking for a little more information try, www.sigma-galant.com. The site isn't pajero based obviously, but the guys on there have the best understanding of the astron engine.
If you search, you'll find my writeup on the inlet/efi side of things. Might help you out a little. (same username)
Hope that helps.
Oh and, good luck!
