Get on to Brett at On Track...66 Moss St Slacks Creek...they have built some awesome comp vehicles as well as custom daily drivers and would be one of the best cab cut shops in the country.

Personal exsperience with On Track is i wont touch any thing they mod. i got my sills and rear quarter cut and it went back three time as the paint cracked. to worsen it it's still the same if not worse. and to add iceing to the cake they just put a shitload of bog in the sills and 12 months after it started falling out. also got them to fix some dents in the rear quarter and they have cracked. this is only my dealings with them and i would still get parts etc but if they still have the same panel beater (bogger) dont touch them. Everyone thats seen it cant believe it either.

Thanks guys I'll look into it and thanks for the heads up micks troll regarding the panel beating, I'm more interested in 4 links and suspension mods more than panel work... Thanks again!

The biggest issue you have with most fab shops in Brisbane is that Custom Fabrication is not their Bread and Butter. So the custom work takes a back seat to the work that keeps their doors open. This is the most common reason for shops to take so long to do this custom work which also gives some of them an undeserved bad name amongst the Custom 4WD scene.

There just isnt enough guys in Brisbane willing to throw the Coin at getting someone else to build their rigs for many to make a living out of Custom Fabrication.

Maybe we are all poorer here in Brisbane or maybe we have more ability then guys down south so we do the work our selves?

But there are defianatly guys around here that should never attemp building a garden shed let alone a Custom 4WD but still attempt it. (not directed to anyone mentioned or involved in this thread ;) )

I'd say either way Brooksey or Mud4B do exceptional looking work, so I'll be able to pick either way! Thanks everyone for your recommendations.

Sounds like you need to charge more or sell more bolt on stuff to go with the custom bits.

tried that too, i have accsess to nearly every part that can go onto a 4by, there just is no call for it here on the sunshine coast.

i do not want to charge any more than what i am now, otherwise me looking for a part time job will turn into me looking for a fulltime job.. and the full closure of suziworx..

they'll be unique, and thus the envy of the other soccermums, just gotta make sure that it handles like a sedan, and has alot of shopping room, oh and be sure to advertise about the shopping room as "many storage spaces"
