I know it is all to late now, but for future referance, you should always use etch primer on gal or alloy...

I've been copping a bit of flak about that lately, stuff like "bars the nicest thing on the car" etc etc :roll: :rofl:

It looks really really neat, and its great as far as approach angle goes cause there's no overhang from it (spring perches are the lowest point still) but the closeness has me a little concerned as to protection, there's really no 'crush' zone or anything between it and the panels. But its got 4 mounting brackets as apposed to the usual 2 so hopefully that helps a bit.
