Series 1 Disco front Springs

Post by SteveC »

Hi All
I have just added an ARB steel bull bar to the Disco and just inquiring as to what spring do I need to fit to the front for the extra wieght.
The Disco is stock standard apart from the bull bar.
I do not wish to raise it, as I need to get into the company car park.
Thanks
Steve

mate of mine just fitted the same as yours to his D1 .. don't think you need to put heavier springs on.. he didn't notice any difference. But you will if you put a winch on

Got 180 lb springs on the front of my Rangie with a tube bar (tad lighter than an ARB) and 8000lb Warn up front.

Holds up well and it hardly dropped when I added them to the front of the Rangie.
