I will, in your pajero nody. :finger: Is it 1m of mud or water, it sounds more like it will be a recovery day, not a mud run

i went and had abit of a look the other day and id say at a guess that the water will only be half metre deep with the walls being 1 metre high to keep the water in abit like the easy run at the pig pen and it may turn to mud after a while but it will mainly be water

but thats only my take on i may be way off the mark
but im still in ;)

This is looking really good now with water in the hole thanks to the rain over the weekend, this will be an event for standard car to run in, with hard options for the more set up rigs and drivers.

Water will only a foot deep we don't want to swamp cars, or be doing recoveries all day, the holes will be pumped out if it's to deep or pumed in if it gets to low.

Spectators want to see lots of action not recoveries

You will get a minimun of 2 runs on each track

Sorry to say this but we have had to postpone this event until 2008, the main reason is we still have to get it through all the council requirements and the club has decide to postpone for now until we get it through all the processes, we want this event to be around for a long time.

Good news this will live again, will have new date in 2008 up soon, had to move the tracks up the hill away from the creek. Tested this out a couple of weeks ago and it should be a fun weekend track gets harder as the day goes one  The soft sandy soil gets chewed out real quick   They won't be as deep as well had to pump half of it out to drive it, without killing motors.

If anyone wants to get time up on a machine, we are only to happy to let you dig or push dirt around.

Cheers
Damo

I really hope this goes of without a problem as we need an event close to brisbane , we tried to have a gymkana with caboolture council a year ago on our 500 acre block out by the boat ramp and got hit with " VISUAL POLLUTION " was not acceptable ?? SHOULD HAVE SLIPPED A BIT OF MONEY IN THE COUNCILERS POCKET
If it is all good to go give us a call and we will look at sponsorship of the event and i am keen as to compete even thou mud sucks big time, good to test out the hair dryer and blue bottle on the TB42.

And we are moving away from the mud idea too!!!! after our club had a "Fun Day" out there last year

With the new council it had to go through a new council meeting, as the election was right in the middle of the application process when it went to the old council, we still don't have a firm answer yet but it will happen I may be 50 by then but it will happen.

I'm only 40 now  even if it kills me

We had a problem with bikes using the site but that has now stopped and the neighbour across the freeway should be happy
