paint question

Post by mugginsmoo »

can anyone tell me the actual colour that is found on the military vehcles, US and OZ, in the middle east?

I'm looking to paint my new 4by in this "desert storm" colour. but i need a "proper" name or "code", so that the paint shop can mix it up.

i have found the colour on the site that HotFourOk, linked up

on the colour scale FS595 the offical colour is SAND 33531

if you open "paint" in windows and go to custom colours the settings are Hue: 21 Sat: 84 Lum: 181 Red: 214 Green: 193 Blue: 170

this will give you the colour, it will look "pinkish" but acording to the army, it will get a more natural look as it oxidizes
