removing arb airlocker hose

Post by salli »

Ok i got a split in in arb airlocker hose and was wondering how to remove the blue airlocker hose where it goes into a brass section then into the silver fitting. Its got a orange ring at the end of it .Its the air solenoid end i need to know, located at the aircompressor end.Is it a press fit or something ?

Ive tryed to remove the hose but it does not wanna come off,By the way the orange ring is not attached to anything and looks broken to me .
Is the hose fitting reuseable ?

Normally you press the orange ring in towards the fitting and pull the hose out bit it sounds like it's broken and you need a new one :bad-words:

You have to push the orange plastic ring in as far is it will go against the fitting (it's sort of spring loaded) and hold it there and at the same time you can pull the airline out.
Pretty much all airline fittings are the same.
You have to make sure there is no crap behind the orange ring so it will push back far enough though.
