hi guys my winch crapped its self on sunday . i hade it all hooked up to pull me out of the mud and it just wouldnt wind in . it just made a noise like when you got a flat battery in a car (click click click........)
where is the best place to take it ?

By the way ROAD_KILL sounds a bit to me like your solenoids are stuffed, maybe test your winch without the solenoids and make sure it isn't the solenoid pack first.

I agree with Beretta that its a good chance its the solenoid pack,
I've replaced all four of my warn solenoids over the last few years
as they tend to stop working and just click.
My rear winch runs one of the new sealed solenoid packs.
I think Beretta sells these, If your soleniod pack is getting a bit
old it could be an option to try one of these.
You can check which solenoid might be playing up by
bridging each seperatly with some wire (try not to electricute yourself)
or take it to an electrition. You can buy the warn solenoids seperatly
for about $40.
