Winch Doctor is not working anymore as far as I knew is that incorrect?

By the way ROAD_KILL sounds a bit to me like your solenoids are stuffed, maybe test your winch without the solenoids and make sure it isn't the solenoid pack first.

Cheers, Beretts

I agree with Beretta that its a good chance its the solenoid pack,
I've replaced all four of my warn solenoids over the last few years
as they tend to stop working and just click.

My rear winch runs one of the new sealed solenoid packs.
I think Beretta sells these, If your soleniod pack is getting a bit
old it could be an option to try one of these.

You can check which solenoid might be playing up by
bridging each seperatly with some wire (try not to electricute yourself)
or take it to an electrition. You can buy the warn solenoids seperatly
for about $40.
What could possibly go wrong????

Bruce Poole was the Winch Doctor. He works fulltime for Ateco and works part time for Macquarie 4x4 in what he used to do as the Winch Doctor. So you can still get work carried out by Bruce through Macquarie 4x4.

Easy check is changing the F1 and F2 wires on the winch, if it runs in fine your solenoids are gone. Call Beretta and get the sealed one. Bothering with replacing single solenoids is not really worth it.
