OK since it hardly rains every in QLD i haven't noticed until recently. After a shower or two we noticed a damp smell and couldn't find it straight away, after some more extensive looking it was found to be sopping wet in the passangers side front foot well only - no where else!! The floor mat isn't even wet at all due to the rubber backing only the carpet underneath! Like it is soaking up through the floor - impossible as it raining from the sky down not the groung up!
Has anyone had a similar problem? I have tried to find a weeping point or hole in the fire wall without a grommet or similar and don't think the air con could be dumping that much water and only when it rains The seals around the wind screen and window looks good and nothing else is wet WTF is going on??? open the doors up on a hot day and she dries out no worries then next time it rains - slosh slosh....
I recently had it tinted but to my knowledge they did't touch the seals. I'm stummped and would appreciate any tips on where to look next...

If you have a snorkle fitted, check where it bolts to the windscreen pillar, as I have heard of them leaking there. The water gets into the pillar & runs down into the passanger side footwell. You will need to pull the screws out & seal well with silicon.

My 60 series leaks in exactly the same spot... only in the passeger foot well. Found it to be where they seam the firewall round to the side section behind the front quarter. Water basically runs off the roof, down the front front pillar and onto the seam which is cracked, going through the small cracks and dribbling down the inside of the kick panel. Doesn't sound like much, but when it rains, it really gets wet.
My solution(which I havn't done yet) is to remove the front quarter to access behind it, scrape the old sika out of the seam and apply a new lot to it, making sure it's well and truely sealed. At the moment I've removed the kick panel and put a towel there when it rains and that stops a heap but for a newer truck like yours, I'd try to permanently fix it.

yeah it did but i had only had it a short whole at that stage and it hadn't rained until after the tint. I spoke to the previous owner about it but he always had it garaged so never noticed it - aparently...
