Then he noticed the fuel cut off switch(i think thats what its called) on the side and said, great that will give me access. He unscrewed that and got his compressor with a blower attachment, and blew it out. he said what ever you do dont blow it out at full strength just a couple of short half powered squirts otherwise you can bend or jam the float up.
Do this with the air cleaner off. It should blow out a bit of fuel out the top of the carby. This had instant results, perfect idle straight away. So easy, and to think i was probably gonna take it to a carby place and get ripped off. never again

Here is a pic from another thread, ive circled the part needed to remove. it is located on the engine side of the carb.
