i hav a 83 hilux.and i amy build the truck up slow cos i is only 15. i hav bort a power steering box and want 2 no how to fit it up probly and how 2 set the steering arms and rods up?? cheers joel

Probably best to take a photo of the box mate. Have a look in the members section posted by bubs on his 1999 SWB Daily Driver Hilux, there is a good example of how to mount a steering box there.

Given that your on the gold coast, pm bubs and he may be able to help you out in person and get it set up correctly for you.

it'd be a bit of a job if your 15 needs to have new brackets to your chassis differnent arm on the lh side of the diff and at least a new draglink and then when it comes to getting registed it'lll have to be engineered so there is a few things in there which can be a bitch so maybe best to just chace a solidaxle type box for now and worry about changing it once it all registed Pm bubs as he's just done this and more on his hilux

Mounting it isnt a problem.i am a apprence engeering so i can take it and a carton or 2 to work and the boys will help me fit it up.i just need to no how to set up the arms and rods??pics would be so help ful.how hard would it be to get engeered?? cheers joel

the one in the last pic is a superior one but mine was made up by the guy that owns the ute in the 2nd pic would have made my own but it was to cheap to pass up and going to make a spare one just in case.
