'Piss ant' 4500Lb warn winch under load- amp draw?

Post by raqmup »

Hi guys, I'm doing my homework on the amp load vs. what size alt I'm going to run or keep the factory Vitara alt. My main question is: Does anyone have specs on my pissy lil' 4500lb warn in reference to its amp draw under load(s)? And secondly, will my Vitara alt keep up with headlights (no driving lights on) and a few accessories on etc while winching?

Cheers, Mike ;)

What's the model number or whatever? The warn website seems to have a lot of specs on it but the answer is going to depend on the motor being used, not so much the rating in pounds which comes from both the motor and the gearing.
This is not legal advice.
