Sounds interesting. Any big petrol rigs with big HP, or just natural diesels at 85hp

Is the pgs zook going to be there, it would be interesting to see how much power that thing makes. I watched it at the quarry stages of the obc and it was quicker than the V8 patrol it was matched up with.

PGS ZOOK

Post by PGS 4WD »

No the Zook won't be there. The tune for the outback was low boost and low power to suit low octane (91) fuel. We were tuning to suit 98 and 20 psi and making another 120 rear kW compared to the outback tune however managed to shear the input shaft on the T700. Kewish are building a new trans for it but we aren't likely to get it for a week or so.

Actually it goes very well, much better than my turbo intercooled GU.
So how those rear wheel figures compare, I have no idea...

Given that Power (kW) =( Torque(Nm) x RPM)/9549 I take it that you have a real stump puller.

Oh was that power in 4wd or 2wd? cause you would have more kw at wheels in 2wd right?

A std GU intercooled on our dyno makes about the same, GQ's got to be a lot lighter.

What was the biggest HP recorded?

I'm curious to see how my Toyota Crown mounted 1FZ-FE stacks up (538rwkw)

What sort of numbers are turboed 1FZ and TB48's putting out guys?

Cheers
