egr will basically just pump raw exhaust gasses back into your intake in an effort to reburn and reduce harmful biproducts.
by blocking it or having it blocked, you will only be gettting fresh intake air in, but the power difference from experience will be not noticable.

easy way to check to see if its blocked is to block it ;) preferably at the exhaust end but commanly done at the inlet manifold.

there is no top HP change as the egr system is off at full throttle, but you will notice an increase in performance at part throttle.

one thing tho....it pays to disable the butterfly as well. however i'm not familar with the setup so i can't tell you which bit to disconnect. it will run a lot better with the butterfly disabled.

reason i wanna check is cos i now have vacumn when i turn the car off. it reads -20 on the boost/vac gauge when i turn it off for a second then goes to zero.

someone on here said i might have it blocked and to check it and plus my turbo isnt boosting much (used to boost 11 psi) now does 8psi and struggles to do that so i thought i should check, i have been told it could be part of the problem
