I normally place a large piece of hardwood under the sump and jack from there. Undo nuts 1, 2 and bolts 3, 4. Fit new mount to bracket then slip into bracket on engine. Nip up nuts 1 & 2 then lower engine until bolts 3 & 4 line up. Tighten everything and remove the jack. Probably not recommended Suzuki method but thats how I do it.
Should be plenty of flex in the rear mount. If you undo it there is a risk the box could fall off the mount which woudl cause everhthing to twist.... a big PITA.
