One that has four wheels would be a good start.
Sorry had to.
What do you want to do with it ?
Ute or Wagon ?
More info would make it a bit of an easier question.
Cheers Nick

I want it for day to day but also beach and the bush no comp stuff want to be able to go out in bush and not struggle through the tracks . Take it to places like 4wd parks . I have heard that they are the best 4wds to have and can handle most things.

4.2 diesel is your best option as the 3.0 have been plagued with problems, and the petrols are a little thirsty.

Average around 13 - 14lts per 100kms for a 4.2td wagon, roof racks are worth around 2lts per 100km's more.

if you are buying very late model or new the 3.0L is much more efficient, had problems early on, apparently sorted now.
