WHAT problems will come up with the suspension?
Some one said to me in the club to weld up the front bush hole and weld plates on the side of the mounts and redrill in new spot to get caster right will this work
Will I need longer brake lines
BACK : I was going to add the 50mm spaces and space the bump stops does any one know what shocks would fit
I want more height to run 31 (also want to do a virtual lift) will I be able to fit 31's with out bl and will an engineer pass the suspension

i dont like to predict what problems that might happen if... if... if...
if it aint broke, dont fix it... Take her for a drive, and enjoy... until something breaks!
as to the other questions:
a) the stock suspension should work fine unless you want other things (bigger tyres, engine swap, etc) then that is when you might have to do some work to the suspension (rewelding mounts, etc)...
b) Your local suspension shop should be able to get some Rancho's (5000 or 9000's) that should fit 50mm spacers.
c) 50mm should be enough lift normally for 31's, but it depends on the tyre, and how much grinding/cutting etc you want to do.
Get the spacers and a 2 inch body lift and you wont have as many drama's.
d) will an engineer pass them? how well do you know the engineer, and what is the legal height in your state? Depends...
e) you want an offset of about 3 - 3.5 inches (on a 15x7 or 15x8 rim). But again, it depends on the rim manufacturer... Go a 5 stud F100 rim if you can find them...

Yep front is coil-over style.noelb1 wrote:don't coilys have a strut type setup for the front springs? if so you would need to find longer struts or a small coilover for the front, shocks won't do .
Layto....
Just between me and you, I actually really dig the Megatwon, but if anyone asks, I'm going to shitcan it as much as possible! :D
I'VE GOT A COILY SIERRA WITH 7 INCH COIL LIFT AND 2 INCH BODY AND 34'S AND ALL YOU NEED TO LIFT THEM IS LONGER STRUT'S IN THE FRONT AND BIGGER COILS IN THE BACK BUT YOU HAVE TO REINFORCE THE DIFF'S CAUSE THEY WILL BEND AND SO WILL YOUR TRAILING ARM MINE ACCUALLY SNAPED BUT BY PUTTING AN ADJUSTABLE PAN HARD ROD IT FIXED ALL MY TROUBLES
coily suzi's will break if not properly modded they are the weakest sierra as stock ive found but with 2inch bodylift 30x9.5 tyres on stock rims and get rid of your swaybar it will go along way! you can spend your money on fuel to drive your toy and also keep the breakages to min too. learn how to drive it and you'll be playing with the big boys If thats what floats your boat.
