transfer case stick slipping out

i have a 92 single cab hilux every now and then if i am changing from 4wd low or high the lever pops from between the two rods inside the box i have to stop take the boots of undo the top of the box slide one of the rods back put the lever back in and its all sweet is this a comon problem or is there something going on i cant see

mine does this was going to pull mine out and measure it compaired with a mates one or just go to the wreckers and get another or possably weld and grind it back to what it should be.
plenty of parts on the bench

Tis a common problem.
Mine did it.
I just took out the transfer shifter and MIGed the end a bit and ground it square and it is all good again.

sweet found something to do on weekend it was realy starting to s :bad-words: t me
