Heavy Duty Steering Stabliser

Post by Scooter_83_au »

Hey all.

My mates and I (Mostly my mates :o) have recently fitted a 4" Lift to my Wrangler.

Along with the Kit I also got a heavy Duty Steering Stabiliser

We came across a query with the Heavy Duty Steering stabiliser.
It seems to bump up against the Track Arm preventing left hand turning.

The stock Stabiliser had some packing (a spacer maybe 30~40mm) on the tapered Bolt on the Drag Link end but I couldn't seem to see any with the Heavy Duty one. As the HD one is also thicker 30mm might not do.

Did We miss something in the box or is there another way to go about it?
Any help would be great.

It was a Rough Country Stab.

Cheers,
Scott.

Yeah, However it's designed for a LHD Vehicle. As they're in America and havent come across this problem before, they're uable to be all that helpful (although the guys I bought it from did try)
Before I posted a Quick search showed me that this happens to quite the number of after market HD Dampers.

Some people have used various fix's that might possibly work with mine, but I was hoping someone had some more specific experience/Advice for my situation.
