will it bolt straight up?

its from a 4.2 EFI

Couldnt find anything in search but im sure it would be there somewhere.

Im fairly sure they are a straight fit up, as I have seen ads on here and elsewhere for people swapping Tfer cases with rockhoppers for GQ/GU...

As far as I am aware the only difference - mainly in the later GUs - is the selector. I haven't tried to interchange the selectors but we have fit a series 1 or 2 GU Transfercase onto a GQ and visa versa.

Does anyone know how i can check what gearset is in a transfer case when the car is undrivable??

Will i be able to turn it by hand and count?

put in low turn input shaft count the turns on out put shaft, std is 2.02 to 1, 85% is 3.74 to 1 check marks adapters if other ratio is required
