front diff.

Post by eddy 76 »

I am looking for a cheaper alternative for a front locker and am trying to import a lockright from the states wondering if anybody has done this or if anybody knows who manufactured the front diff for a nk 3.5 v6 is it done by mitsubishi or is it generic.

I am no expert, but wont it mean that your turning circle with be an absolute pig if you dont have manual hubs(as your front two wheels will always be locked together if you are in 4wd)... or even if in 2wd I believe. But if you have manual hubs you can force disconnect the wheels from each other to allow proper differentiation between the front two wheels while turning.

I understand what you are saying but it is supposed to unlock when you turn i think? it is only a weekend toy not used for anything else.
