diff locks
just a question with ARB air diff locks.
being the only air locker i know of would they fit in a xr6/8 ute. due to having a locked diff being dangerous in the wet if your are unexperianced so unlocking and locking would be handy.
i cant afford either the diff locker or the ute but just a question. and yes i do not indorse ripping skids and making excessive smoke from your rear wheels.
(please move if in wrong area.)
thanks.

The BA falcon RTV ute already has a pushbutton locker. (electic solenoid activated)
There are some 2WD applications for ARB airlockers, but I'm not sure they do one suitable for a falcon ute. (but if its an old one with 9"rear... )

If it is a phord 8.8 then yep there are airlockers avalaibele for em.. I think eaton make a limited slip locker for em as well (electrically actuated)

Which is what is in the BA RTV ute.... like I said in the original reply.love_mud wrote: eaton make a limited slip locker for em as well (electrically actuated)
I thought they were borg warner 78 though not ford 8.8. ford 8.8 is F150 rear not falcon.

i think in the ford rtv the electric locker will auto unlock at 80kph, incase you forget to turn it offGwagensteve wrote:Which is what is in the BA RTV ute.... like I said in the original reply.love_mud wrote: eaton make a limited slip locker for em as well (electrically actuated)

it's a common practice to fit complete hilux diff housings, diffs and axles to the arse end of series 1-3 rx-7's, due to them being stronger than the standard live axle, and about the right track widthHighway-Star wrote:There was one in the classifeds on here a few months back (sydney I think), and I believe they said it was a Hilux one that was fitted to an RX-7. I was rather surprised at the time.
Spit my last breath
not of it's not set up though the computer it won't Wrangler rubicons are the same- it's a liability thing and can easily be bypassed.rover1 wrote:i think in the ford rtv the electric locker will auto unlock at 80kph, incase you forget to turn it offGwagensteve wrote:Which is what is in the BA RTV ute.... like I said in the original reply.love_mud wrote: eaton make a limited slip locker for em as well (electrically actuated)
