Flat Fenders for a TJ

Post by Joshie_C »

Hey Guys

Just recently swapped my hilux for a 2001 TJ ;) , (Got sick of getting picked on by my broher, and father, they are jeep heads) My old boy has a 1942 Ford GPW and i love the flat fender's on them, have seen the TJ flat fender kits for sale in american mag's and was wondering if anyone in aus has a kit or imports the kits, would rather support local aus than americans...

Also and Info on the Dana 30/44 Super upgrades...
Cheers
Josh

Correct... he used to own the hilux when it was stock, and then he wanted it back after we locked it up and did the motor conversion, then with the 37's he really wanted it... he must have some fond memories of that car...

i think you may run into some legal issues if you flat fender the TJ......that and the fact to cover some decent rubber you need 6" wide flares which would look like BBQ plates strapped to the hood.

Wooders imports Poison Spyder stuff.......they do some good flares if you keen on the idea.
i don't need no stinking quote for my sig. line!

any good cage builder can make a set real easy. Once you see a TJ with the gaurds off you will see how easy they are to make. Dorzun on Ausjeepoffroad had as et fabbed up I think he is in Brissy.

Yeah we took the 18R out and replaced in with a later model fuel injected corona motor (2.4 petrol, 22RE) was a good conversion and typical toyota everything basicially bolted in
