Snorkel for non standard engine

Post by mc dave »

I'm about to put a Commodore V8 into a 73 series. I'm getting a snorkel done at the same time, problem is, the air intake for the new engine is on the left.

I'm pretty sure all the 70, 73, 75, 78 series snorkels mount on the right. Is this correct?

If so, is there an off the shelf snorkel that will fit the 73 series bodywork and mount on the right or will I need to go custom?
