The Outerlimits Proving ground is by far the tuffest i have ever seen!!
If we were to count up the amount of stuff busted on that track
I also think that the Outerlimits Proving Grouds "Highway to Hell" is another thing yet!! Only 1 vehicle has driven the whole track out of 5 attempts. Its a constant 25-30 degress and has boulders that point you vertical when your on them! It also took 7 hours for 3 rigs to get threw 2 had to winch 3 sections.
You know its TUFF when even we are scared to go back in there!!!!
This trail has only been driven twice. The first time me and Sam drove it we were clearing dead trees and logs out of the way. Sam winch once or twice and i broke the front tailshaft about half way up and had to winch out the side.
The second time Me,BJ and Adrian drove it and we all had to winch at some stage but i only winched to re-aligne myself as i ended up sideways. I didnt winch forward. BJ snaped his rear tailshaft about 5 mtres from the end.
Before Woodpecker all 4 rigs in our team will drive both Highway to hell and Soup Bowl to make sure they are ready
SORRY RUFF .... but i wood have to say "GUN SHOT" up CAPE YORK on the TELEGRAPH TRACK ....any idiot can drive off it...... but to date NO ONE AND I MEAN NO HAS DRIVEN UP IT have seen heaps of people winch up it and heaps of idiots try and fly up it with some classic out comes to... i think who ever has been, seen and driven down it will agree with me here. ive seen the pics and carnage and all that crap the goes with "gunshot" its all of prolly 20 mtrs long and you cood play on it for days with out driven it..

yeah kev... but thats a shit shot need a pick of it when the creek aint flooded... theres two "gunshot" tracks then theres the |"pussy" track... then theres "i wanna go down gunshot but this will do" track hehehe i went down this one

just lookin at the high way to hell... i recon that looks like it wood bust the nuts offa any big bad rock rig. there aint that many narly rock crawlin tracks up this way but since ive been doin abit of scouting i recon i have found a couple of tracks that have similar obsticles to your soup bowl.... the only problem is findin someone with a rig willin to drive it up here.....TERRAFIRMA.... i know you want to

There's optional hillclimbs at Toolangi far harder than that Gunshot pic.

I'll also say that track conditions can change dramatically between seasons. This is the case here in Vic where high rainfalls can make relatively easy tracks into absolute dangerous nightmares.
It also depends what standard you are at, one blokes idea of a hard track can be easy meat for a more experienced driver with a more capable rig.
The question is virtually impossible to answer.................

dude the same thing happens up here with weather and ran but usually hppens on a BIGGER SCALE then that to wet weather down south... i dont know how many people have travelled the CREB TRACK (Cairns Regional Electricity Board Track)just up past the township of DAINTREE RIVER but you only need a couple of days of rain and its a disaster waiting to happen..... i asked a local when i was up there last he owns a 4x4 rainforrest touring bussiness... he said that there was a bloke from NSW had a go at the creb track and was stuck, slipped off the side of a ridge and rolled his rig all the way down a 300m+ slippery hill he was stuck for 2 weeks before the next 4x4 rig came thru this is the kinda track that has about 6-8 inches of red clay mud then when you have plowed thru it you hit harder and more slippery clay surface but you are right about this thred question THIS IS IMPOSSIBLE TO ANSWER but we can have fun talking about these different tracks different tracks as it will more people eger to give em a go
just a word of warning these tracks mentioned arent for your every day 4x4er these are for experienced drivers you drive at your own risk and remember that if these tracks are flogged and abused they will be CLOSED like the rest of the tracks that people abuse........ its happenen all around NTH QLD now all the local haunts are being flogged out by hill billies and gettin them closed or can only be accessed by a 4x4 club
