3.9 Serpentine belt ALTERNATOR replacement?

Just wondering if anyone has found a replacment alternator for the serpentine 3.9 alternator. There seems to be a lot of info on the older style ones.

I heard of someone replacing it with some modifcation to a Magna alt. But remember, Landies run the Tacho off the Alt

I'm not sure the magna alternator will fit, due to the position on engine. The older 3.9's run off the LHS of the engine, but the serpentine ones are fixed mount in the top middle. Thanks heaps, hopefully someone has crossed this bridge

coomodore one Not shore what model but we did one on the homeless buggy a while back all that was needed was the adjuster braket made longer
