Being out of a drag car, how does it make its power. Is it all top end? It might make good power, but will it make power that is usable? With that much power, you will find the limit of the drive train strength quick smart.

I've a 308 stroker in my Surf, I run landcruiser rear locked & 5/8 axle stud upgrade & Hilux solid front with Lonfield axles & Haultech CV's, tail shafts are heavy walled items and clutch is an Exceedy modified setup. Gearbox is an R151 5 speed. This setup seems to do the job well.
I would be putting in a stronger rear end first as I smashed a few 8" centres & axles before going to the cruiser diff.
I run 35" on road & 36's offroad.
Cheers
Andrew
