Trying to get idea`s for a airbox pipe as the other one is rooted (see below)...It is not a stocko pipe due to 5k engine conversion.
I need something that has a 60mm inner diameter.
Only thing i can come up with is wire reinforced flexible radiator hose from clark rubber....but i think it will be to stiff or possibly flexible plastic waterpipe but heat from engine will prob kill it.
Silicone pipe that they use for turbo`s is an option but the pipe diameter only come in 75mm & again heat will prob kill it.
Plumbing pipe mate... apparently it's sweet with a turbo (see the general tech thread)
You won't melt the silicone... its usually good to well over 300 degrees C.
"RFH" ducting is what you really want. Some Clarke Rubber type places have it. I Melbourne the best source is Purple Pig. This is sprial wire supported rubber ducting. It is often used for snorkel trunking and lasts very well and is high quality. It is slightly dearer than smack though, by the gram. (but it will outlast your car)
Purple pig also do silicone in heaps of sizes too (warning.... it's not in bling colours from them)
I did Grimbo's crossover pipe in his 5k years ago in 2.25 exhaust tube and RFH. Worked fine.

on mine with the 5k we used a length of steel tube and just used the rubber on end to attach to the airbox whilst the other end was a straight match to the carby
But yours had a 1.3 airbox which has a 3" outlet on it not a 1.0 which is 2.5.

Mate , I used 2 1/2 inch exhaust , round 60 mm OD and flexible bends. The bends and clamps came from a airfilter company , surely there would be one in coffs , just grab a 45 degree 60 mm bend and some clamps , I used the one's with the bolts through them and use your existing flexy of your carby , Cheers Paul.
The 90 degree bend of the airbox is the standard zuk airfilter flexi and is arround 60 mm on the small end and might fit your airbox if the one you have got is no good.
The flexi near the radiator came from a wrecker , it was 60mm , perfect fit.
Grimbo...quick question, with your 5k coversion how did you connect the lower radiator hose to the engine as the zook radiator inlet & outlet are on the same side or did you do a radiator swap???
Could you post a pic if you have one of your radiatior set up would be appreciated...cheers.
I`m doing a huge tidy up of this zook ute.....(you would remember posted up on Outers)......bought it off a young bloke who originally posted it up...will post pics of the clean up shortly.
