High guys just wondering how strong the Jeep stuff is compared to the Rangie's and Discoveries so I have a better idea of the tyre size I should go with.
I pretty much know the limits of the Rangie stuff.
I am thinking of 31" claws to go on my ZJ however maybe I can get away with something in a 32". I don't want to have to baby it and fix diff/axles all the time.

do a search on a dana 30 front and dana 44 rear
not biggest baddest comp style axles but pretty reasonable up to 35's
for 31/32 no problem the only thing to watch jeeps are pretty under geared from factory and you take a performance hit going up in tyre size to do it correctly after 31's you should plan a ratio change others dont mind the performance drop so each to their own

Ok Wooders, what's stronger Rangie diffs and axles or Jeep diffs and axles. I believe the Rangie is a bit bigger. Does that make it stronger?
I do like the high diff clearence ( I still have bad memories from the GQ days of getting stuck on diffs),
Going by what I have read a bit of guard chopping and a 3" lift should fit 32's but I am still a bit concerned I am going to break stuff.
I have read that trussing the diff/ axles help a lot to save them.
Does anyone here have experience with the A frame conversion that they have for the ZJ. It is a 4" lift?
