What year did the split rear seats appear on the Sierra's?
Are split rear seats and full rear seats interchangeable?

Early WTs still had single piece rear seat. about '90 or '91 the split ones appeared. Its possible it was introduced in the facelifted SJ-70 model which came out in late '91.

My '90WT had the single bench, but after pulling up the carpet I had bolt holes for the splits.
I now run one split in the rear for passengers which still leaves room for milk-crate storage

Mine is an 89, and has the full rear seat.
I am after a set (2 x split)... will pull up the carpet this arvo (after the footy) and check for the extra bolt holes.
I do like the idea of a single split tho...

Mine's an '85 and I have a single split rear seat.
If you were closer I'd part with them, but postage/getting them too you will be a hassle as they weigh a far bit. (or maybe I'm just a girl
)

Thanks for the info guys. At least we have identified that the split seats are interchangeable with the single seat.
I may be changing my thinking, as i have been offered a cheap custom draws setup for the back of the Sierra.
Thanks again.

kewl. draws are a good way.
I have a cargo barrier in mine and endorse it if running only two seats.
