I busted my auto hubs on the wagon a while ago & changed them to Nissan freewheeling hubs as they're stonger than the auto hubs & a hell of a lot cheaper :?

From what I was told when I was looking @ getting a set, Nissan freewheeling hubs are a stronger hub than the AVM ones.

What do you mean by drive flange? does it leave the hub in an unlockable state?

Replaces the FWH with a drive flange, like what constant 80 Series have.

I was braking AVM ones every weekend I took it off road running 37s, i've since put genuine manual locking hubs on and running 42s and I haven't broken one yet.

Cheers Mick.

AVM's are cheap sacrificial lambs. Good cv and axle saving devices.
Nissan and Aisin fw hubs are probably the strongest.
