80 series question

Post by MUD000 »

Is there any differance between the 4.5ltr & a turbo diesel auto other than the fuel system petrol / diesel ????
In driveline are there any differances ????
Is a 6-93 model the current shape or has it been updated since then ??
Are there any other problems with the 4.5 ltr auto ???
Cheers Dan

yep what he said, and some diesel ones were full hydraulic and some electronic/hydraulic. All 4.5's were electronic

there was an update in 1/95 but not to any driveline...just dash/wiring/body metal thicknesses and pressings...interior comours...all minor

cool thanks for that just looking at one at the moment
Bit of a change in plans in what I'm doing found a good low km 80 in excel condition at the right price thought it might be a better option than putting the v8 in the 60 then in 12 months put a 6.5 ltr turbo in the 80 ?
Motor & box is already sold just need to sell the rest now :x
Anyone want a rolling 60 with everthing ??
Cheers Dan
