Tyre pressures??

Post by murcod »

What sort of tyre pressures are best to run in a Feroza for sealed road driving? I picked up my new Feroza today and it had 39PSI front and 36PSI rear- way above what the tyre placard recommends (23PSI front and rear).

The tyres are 225/70R15 Desert Dueller 382(?) on standard steel rims.

Forget the tyre placard thay are full of s@#t. Most modern tyres run at 32-35 psi on road. I always ask when I buy new tyres what is the manufactures recomended pressure. 32 would be OK on road. I use 20 off road.

I run 235-75-R15 Muddies and they are on road 20 off road down to 2 pound depending on situation. Just back from sand run and had 3pounds for traction to get up beach away from the tide.
